Green pool cleanup in Gilbert Arizona

Last week I was contacted by a customer for a green pool clean up in Gilbert Arizona, after their pool service stopped showing up. This pool has an in-ground cleaning system and was leaking severely at the water valve due to a poor installation. I drained the pool and disinfected the surface with liquid chlorine to kill all the algae.

When the pool is green, the filter will also be full of algae and needs to be cleaned. I removed the cartridges and cleaned them, along with the inside of the filter tank. To fix the leak, I replaced the water valves dome top and did some plumbing. With a new union and good glue connections, the leak stopped and the cleaning system is working again. The pool looks great!
